Davey and the Goliaths

Nestled in Upstate New York, Davey and the Goliaths was a vibrant jam band known for their lively performances and eclectic sound. Our journey together began with a straightforward task: creating event posters and social media content to help the band promote their shows and book more gigs.

With their love for the retro 70s concert poster aesthetic, I designed promotional artwork that perfectly captured their energetic vibe. This artwork didn’t just resonate with their audience—it elevated their popularity, leading to a surge in bookings and a stronger presence in the local music scene.

As their visibility grew, so did their aspirations. The band decided it was time to take their recognition to the next level. They asked me to craft a new brand identity rooted in the same retro style, seamlessly tying it to their stage persona. This included a fresh, dynamic website that embodied their fun, uplifting energy and truly brought their brand to life.

It is with a heavy heart that I share a personal note: in August of 2024, David (“Davey”) passed away unexpectedly. He wasn’t just a valued client but also a dear friend. His passion, creativity, and warmth will forever be missed. It was an honor to be part of his journey and help share his music and spirit with the world.
